Doocey Group in Tipton is seeking a Credit Controller to manage debt for Commercial Strategic customers, including National Grid. You will maintain senior stakeholder relationships and ensure timely collections within payment terms.

The role requires experience in commercial debt management, accuracy in data reporting and collaboration across Sales and Service teams. A rigorous, professional approach is essential.

• Experience within same role or similar.
• Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and practices.
• Advanced proficiency in SAGE and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage key strategic relationships with debt at all levels, including directors.
• Lead debt reviews with Key Accounts and support Service reviews with KPI dashboards.
• Visits to customer premises with Sales/Services.
• Handle large data requirements and provide supporting materials.
• Ensure debt collection aligns with payment terms and regulations.
• Ensure compliance and fair treatment of customers per regulatory requirements.
