Prysmian Group is seeking a Credit Specialist to minimize bad debt risk while maximizing accounts receivable collections. This role ensures payment terms are followed and reviews aging reports to drive timely collections.

You will analyze credit requests, establish lines and risk classes, coordinate with finance, document disputes, and maintain accurate credit files in a fast-paced office environment with a strong focus on DEI commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of credit/collections experience.
• Knowledge of terms and conditions related to collections.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective customer service skills.
• Proficient Excel (pivot tables, vlookup).
• 3-5 years credit/collections experience.
• 1-2 years financial statement analysis experience.
• SAP Experience.
• A/S 400 Experience.

Responsabilités

• Analyze requests for credit extensions on new and existing accounts.
• Establish credit lines and risk classes.
• Obtain insurance and guaranties to mitigate risk.
• Enter invoices in third-party systems.
• Review A/R aging and follow up on past due accounts.
• Document offsets and recommend write-offs.
• Minimize bad debt risk while maximizing AR collections.
• Negotiate disputes and document root causes.
• Maintain credit and collection files.
• Reconciling cash transactions and remittances.
• Assist on special projects as requested.
