Qualifications

• Three or more years of B2B credit and collections experience.
• Outbound collection calls and payment requests.
• Resolve deductions, short-pays and billing disputes.
• Proficient in ERP AR module; navigate customer portals like Coupa, SAP Ariba, or OpenInvoice.
• Advanced Excel skills for aging analyses.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined AR portfolio and drive past-due balances down toward monthly targets.
• Call and email customers on past-due invoices; verify payment status in portals.
• Document contacts, promises to pay and dates in the ERP system.
• Negotiate payment plans within approved authority; advise on breaches.
• Process credit applications; pull and interpret credit reports and references.
• Manage credit holds and order releases with sales and service teams.
• Investigate short-pays, chargebacks, and unapplied credits; resolve with sales/ops.
• Maintain customer master records including sales tax exemptions.
• Apply customer payments daily; resolve remittance-matching exceptions.
• Back up AR invoicing and AP processing during close and peak periods.
• Contribute collections to weekly/monthly cash forecast.
