Job summary

S&P Global Ratings' Structured Finance and Alternative Investment Funds team evaluates credit risk in securitized products and fund structures, analyzing asset performance, structural protections, cash-flow mechanics, and stress scenarios. The role leads end-to-end credit analysis, synthesizes portfolio signals with peer context, and communicates insights to rating committees.

Qualifications

Direct experience analyzing securitized products, fund structures, or related structured finance instruments.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality analytical work across multiple credits with limited oversight and to coach junior colleagues.
Practical fluency in AI tools and sound judgment in their application.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end credit analysis and surveillance for assigned structured finance credits.
Synthesize portfolio performance, market signals, and peer context into decision-ready insights for rating committees.
Embed and validate generative AI and large language model tools within analytical workflows with human accountability.
Prepare and review analytical inputs, reconcile metrics, and document assumptions to ensure adherence to methodologies.
Engage with external stakeholders and translate complex data into clear narratives for clients and rating committees.
