Job summary

Guaranty Bank & Trust in Texas seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to perform high-level analyses on commercial loans, prepare loan presentations for the Loan Committee, and determine terms per policy. The role partners with Commercial Lenders to ensure sound credit decisions and monitor ongoing compliance across diverse credit types.

Ideal candidates hold a finance or accounting degree, have underwriting experience, and are proficient in Excel, including advanced functions.

Qualifications

• Intermediate Excel capabilities including macros, pivot tables and formulas.
• Ability to use key performance metrics and data to provide insights and make strategic business recommendations.
• Ability to organize, analyze and interpret data to explain complex irregularities or trends.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Travel to business locations will be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial covenant calculations for compliance monitoring and exceptions on customers.
• Manage financial reporting, compliance certificates and other reports (rent rolls, borrowing bases, etc.).
• Identify violations within loan agreements for credit committee reviews.
• Conduct financial analysis, complete annual reviews, and recommend risk adjustments.
• Perform periodic loan portfolio reviews for asset quality and documentation.
