Job summary

Guaranty Bank & Trust in Texas seeks a Senior Credit Analyst to conduct high-level analyses on commercial loans, prepare loan presentations, and determine terms per bank policy. You’ll work with lenders to monitor covenants and support Loan Committee decisions.

The role requires underwriting experience, finance/accounting education, and travel to client locations. A bachelor’s degree and nCino familiarity are expected, with competitive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Intermediate Excel with macros, pivot tables and formulas.
• Ability to use metrics to provide insights and strategic recommendations.
• Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret data to explain complex trends.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Travel to business locations will be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial covenant calculations for compliance monitoring and exceptions for customers.
• Manage required financial reporting, certificates and rent rolls and other loan- related documents.
• Determine violations within loan agreements and support credit committee decisions.
• Conduct financial analysis, annual reviews, and recommend risk adjustments on credits.
• Review loan portfolios for asset quality and regulatory compliance.
• Assess creditworthiness using financial statements, credit reports, SEC filings and budgets.
• Monitor loan covenants, prepare borrowing bases, and assist draw processing.
• Produce basic to intermediate credit analyses for new/extensions of credit and renewals.
• Prepare annual reviews to verify continuing credit worthiness and risk profile.
• Assist in creating and distributing managerial reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
