Job summary

Guaranty Bank & Trust seeks a Full-Time Credit Analyst II to perform high-level analyses on commercial loans and support the lending team in preparing loan presentations for the Loan Committee. You will determine proposed terms, verify policy alignment, and monitor credit risk across a diverse portfolio.

The role requires underwriting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in finance/accounting required.
• 12 college accounting hours; intermediate accounting I & II required.
• Prior nCino experience required.
• At least 1 year of underwriting experience required.
• Proficient Excel with macros and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial covenant calculations for compliance monitoring and exceptions.
• Prepare loan presentations for Loan Committee and identify proposed terms.
• Analyze financial statements and credit data to determine creditworthiness.
• Review loan agreements, rent rolls, and borrowing bases.
• Conduct annual reviews and risk rating for existing credits.
• Assist with regulatory compliance training and reporting.
• Travel to business locations as required.
