Job summary

Dedham Savings is seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to perform in-depth credit and financial statement analysis to evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers. You will underwrite complex credits with a focus on C&I relationships, assess covenant compliance, and propose structure-related risk mitigations.

You will review key loan documentation, prepare periodic loan/portfolio reports, and support credit-related systems and reporting tools while mentoring other analysts under Credit Leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, business, finance, or related field; equivalent specialized education in credit analysis may be considered.
• Minimum of five years of progressive banking experience in commercial credit analysis, C&I lending, CRE, or construction lending.
• Significant knowledge and experience performing detailed analysis of business financial statements and related information.
• Proficiency with financial statement spreading and credit analysis tools; experience with Moody’s, nCino, Abrigo or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Spread and analyze financial statements; evaluate credit capacity and provide detailed reports.
• Review covenant compliance, assess collateral, and identify policy deviations.
• Propose structure-related risk mitigations; discuss findings with Credit Manager and staff.
• Review loan documentation and maintain related trackers; prepare periodic loan/portfolio reports.
• Support credit-related systems, reporting tools, and technology initiatives.
