Job summary

Dedham Savings is seeking a Credit Portfolio Manager I to provide credit analysis support for significant and complex Commercial Lending relationships and to support portfolio administration, including annual reviews, covenant testing, and risk rating accuracy.

The role collaborates with the Credit and Lending teams to document expectations, implement policy, and deliver timely reporting, with exposure to audits and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant banking/commercial lending experience.
• 3+ years in commercial credit analysis.
• Experience with portfolio monitoring and annual reviews.

Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio administration activities per loan policies, including annual reviews and covenant testing.
• Complete credit analysis and file comments for new money, renewals, modifications, and annual reviews.
• Review credit and legal documentation to ensure proper tracking and testing of covenants.
• Maintain accuracy of loan risk ratings and support timely identification of portfolio risk trends.
• Prepare management and board-level reports as needed.
• Lead departmental projects and interact with clients as required.
