Location: Golden Valley, MN (this is a hybrid role requiring weekly onsite presence in Golden Valley, MN - only local candidates in Minnesota will be eligible)

Compensation: $75,000-90,000 annually dependent on applicable experience.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join a collaborative accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts receivable, credit analysis, customer account management, and lien waivers who is comfortable working cross-functionally to support customers, internal service teams, and business operations.

The Accounts Receivable & Credit Specialist will be responsible for reviewing customer creditworthiness, establishing appropriate credit limits, supporting collections efforts, setting up new customers and contracts, and reviewing lien waiver documentation. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and excellent written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform credit reviews to evaluate customer creditworthiness and determine appropriate credit limits.
• Review individual orders against established credit limits and account history to assess credit risk and determine appropriate next steps.
• Manage and maintain customer accounts within internal systems, including new customer setup and account updates.
• Partner with internal service officers and other business partners regarding collections strategies, customer accounts, credit concerns, and outstanding balances.
• Communicate regularly via email with customers, agents, and internal stakeholders to resolve account and credit-related questions.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of customer contracts and related documentation.
• Review lien waivers for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate language.
• Revise and redline lien waiver language as needed to align with company requirements and contractual terms.
• Review orders, customer correspondence, contracts, and supporting documentation to ensure information is complete and accurate.
• Maintain organized records of credit decisions, customer correspondence, lien waivers, and account documentation.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing of customer orders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Credit & Collections, or a related accounting function.
• Strong understanding of credit reviews, credit limits, customer account management, and collections.
• Experience working with lien waivers is highly preferred.
• Exposure to contracts, construction-related documentation, or lien waiver language is a plus.
• Strong written communication skills with experience managing detailed email correspondence.
• Ability to review documentation and identify discrepancies or potential issues.
• Comfortable working with multiple customers, orders, and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
