Job summary

Discord is seeking a Senior Staff Program Manager to build our creator strategy from the ground up, starting with direct conversations with a selected group of creators and turning early efforts into scalable programs.

You will own cross-functional collaboration with Support, Product, Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, and Policy, shipping first versions, gathering feedback, and expanding the program while maintaining trust.

Qualifications

• A strong passion for Discord and/or gaming.
• 7+ years in creator partnerships, community, platform programs, marketing, product partnerships, or a related field.
• Deeply familiar with how creators build audiences across platforms.
• Experience building and operating creator programs at scale.
• Biased to ship and iterate.
• Comfortable leading as an individual contributor.
• Excellent cross-functional partner across Support, Product, Marketing, Comms, Partnerships, Policy, and more.

Responsibilities

• Build Discord’s creator strategy from the bottom up.
• Bring together creator work across Discord, establish ownership, and turn early efforts into a coherent program.
• Define who we mean by creators and develop an initial approach for selecting and serving a trusted group.
• Create more than one program for creators, beginning with fundamentals: accelerated support, escalation, and two-way communication channels.
• Manage relationships with creators directly and build trust by following through.
• Build a creator council or network to capture a consistent view of creator needs.
• Develop systems and playbooks to grow the program over time without losing relationships.
