Job summary

Discord is hiring a Senior Staff Program Manager to build a creator-focused strategy from the ground up. You will start with a select group of creators already using Discord, then scale programs that better serve them and their communities.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing, Player Communications, and collaborates with Support, Product, Marketing, Communications, Partnerships, Policy, and more.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in creator partnerships, community, platform programs, marketing, product partnerships, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build Discord’s creator strategy from the bottom up through direct creator conversations.
• Consolidate existing creator work and establish clear ownership to form a coherent program.
• Define who we mean by creators and select an initial approach for serving them across games, platforms, formats, and communities.
• Create multiple creator programs focusing on accelerated support and clear escalation paths.
• Manage relationships with key creators and build trust through follow-through.
• Develop a creator council to gain a consistent view of creator needs and platform gaps.
• Create playbooks and systems to scale the program without losing responsiveness.
