Qualifications

• 7+ years in creator partnerships, community, platform programs, marketing, product partnerships, or a related field.
• Experience building and operating creator programs at scale across multiple platforms (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Patreon, Reddit, Discord).
• Biased to ship, iterate, and raise ambition over time.

Responsibilities

• Build Discord’s creator strategy from the bottom up, starting with direct conversations and understanding creators' needs.
• Bring together existing creator work, establish ownership, and turn efforts into a coherent program.
• Define who we mean by creators and develop an initial approach for selecting and serving a trusted group.
• Create multiple programs for creators, starting with foundational support, clear escalation paths, and two-way communication channels.
• Manage relationships with important creators directly and build trust by following through.
• Build a creator council or network to gain a consistent view of creators' experiences and needs.
• Develop systems and playbooks so the program can scale without losing relationships.
