Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum division seeks a Commercial Underwriter experienced in credit analysis to review and underwrite loan requests, collaborating with analysts, portfolio managers, and credit administration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience analyzing business and personal financial statements
• 2+ years of experience underwriting commercial loans, including CRE loans
• Knowledge of FDIC and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

• Analyze new commercial loan requests and perform periodic reviews on existing loans
• Conduct analysis of financial statements and assess credit risk
• Present analysis and recommendations to Portfolio Managers, Underwriters, and Credit team
• Assess and recommend risk ratings for analyzed loans
• Complete covenant compliance testing for loans in the portfolio
• Analyze and document loan modification requests
• Assist with portfolio management and monitoring
• Develop relationships with internal and external clients
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned
