Cushman & Wakefield in Baltimore seeks a Senior Property Manager to lead the Property Management staff and oversee a significant portfolio, serving as the primary contact for third-party relationships.

The role requires directing operations, budget management, and accurate reporting, while coordinating with the Construction Manager on projects. Strong leadership and finance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of real estate property management or related experience.
• CPM, RPA, or CSM designation.
• Possess real estate license.
• Strong knowledge of finance and building operations.
• Proven experience in management, evaluation, development, and motivation of subordinates.
• Ability to effectively manage a team of professionals, including both employees and vendors.
• Experience negotiating commercial lease and/or contract language.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for property management business.
• Provide overall property management leadership through policies, programs, and strategy.
• Lead Property Management staff and vendors; promote career paths.
• Track budget variances and ensure smooth recovery process.
• Oversee billing, invoices, and disbursement of funds.
• Monitor cash flow and cash requirements for efficient use of cash.
• Prepare reports, annual budget, and owner communications.
• Support timely collection of management fees and reimbursements.
• Maintain interface with third-party owners and ensure contract compliance.
• Resolve tenant relations issues and oversee property inspections.
• Oversee construction projects with Construction Manager; approve contracts and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with policies, codes, and government directives.
