Job summary

The Hilb Group, LLC is seeking a Consulting Director to lead the lender consulting practice within Parallel Risk Advisors, a CRE-focused insurance brokerage. The role involves end-to-end deal execution, from reading loan documents to extraction of insurance requirements and post-closing follow-up.

You will manage a day-to-day client relationship with sophisticated institutional lenders and act as a technical resource for junior team members.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of experience in commercial real estate insurance or CRE risk management.
• Demonstrated command of CRE coverage including property, liability, umbrella/excess, and specialized risk.
• Proven ability to own client relationships and negotiate under closing pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review loan documents to extract insurance requirements and negotiate with borrowers and brokers.
• Prepare and issue insurance reports, including compliance memo and premium documentation.
• Manage open items through closing and post-closing deliverables; coordinate with lenders and investors.
