Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is recruiting for a Crane Operator 3 to lead complex lifts and ensure safe operations at our Richmond-area site. You will drive complex lift planning, mentor crew members, and oversee hazard reviews to maintain high safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with extensive crane-experience, current LAT/TSS certifications, and the ability to coordinate with foremen and lift directors on challenging projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6 years of experience or equivalent training.
• Current CCO TSS, TLL, and LAT certifications for assigned equipment scope.
• Documented employer operator evaluation for the crane type, size, and work.

Responsibilities

• Lead hazard reviews for complex crane setups and safety precautions.
• Plan crane positioning, rigging, and setup with qualified crew members.
• Review lift packages: load weight, center of gravity, radius and contingencies.
• Diagnose abnormal equipment behavior and verify repair status.
• Mentor operators across crane types and support field evaluations.
