Job summary

American Equipment Holdings (AEH) is seeking an Experienced Crane Service Technician to join our Casper, WY team. The role covers field service, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists across multiple experience levels (Level 1 through Master).

Positions emphasize strong mechanical and electrical skills, safety, and clear customer communication. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
• Experience in crane service or industrial maintenance.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections, maintenance, and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists in accordance with OEM manuals and OSHA standards.
• Troubleshoots and repairs uncommon brake systems and motor control components.
• Rigs up and installs new crane and hoist equipment with proper safety procedures.
• Mentors and supports junior technicians and communicates effectively with customers.
• Maintains detailed service records and documentation.
