Job summary

Happen Bank is seeking a Sr CRA Manager to lead the CRA program strategy, governance, and community development initiatives. This role requires coordinating data, reporting, and regulatory readiness while aligning with the bank’s objectives and growth plans.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, regulators, and community partners to advance CRA outcomes, manage budgets, and oversee audits and examinations, ensuring compliance and impact.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act and related regulations.
• Experience managing CRA programs, including strategic plans and reporting.
• Proven experience leading CRA examinations with regulators.
• Strong ability to analyze CRA performance and present clear findings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership and boards.
• Ability to manage multiple regulatory deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Happen Bank's multi-year CRA strategy and Strategic Plan.
• Monitor CRA performance and prepare governance reports.
• Oversee data collection, validation, and reporting for CRA activities.
• Maintain CRA documentation and regulatory records, including public file.
• Conduct community outreach to identify needs and opportunities.
• Build partnerships with community organizations for CRA-qualified activities.
• Manage CRA donations budget and coordinate volunteer opportunities.
• Provide CRA training across the organization and governance bodies.
• Lead CRA audits and regulatory examinations and remediation activities.
