Job summary

Happen Bank is seeking a Sr CRA Manager to lead the Bank’s CRA program and strategic plan, align activities with regulatory expectations, and drive community investments. You’ll partner with executives to monitor performance, strengthen governance, and ensure data accuracy across lending, investments, and service lines.

The role requires senior CRA experience, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration while supporting examinations and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in CRA or related regulatory function within a bank or regulated financial institution
• Deep working knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act, implementing regulations, interagency guidance, and related regulatory expectations
• Experience managing CRA programs, including Strategic Plans, data collection and analysis, documentation, regulatory reporting, and community development activities
• Proven experience leading CRA examinations and interacting with regulators
• Experience developing and executing CRA strategies aligned with business objectives and community needs

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute Happen Bank’s multi-year CRA strategy and plan
• Monitor CRA performance and prepare governance reporting and recommendations
• Oversee CRA data collection, validation, monitoring, and reporting across lending, investment, service, and community development activities
• Maintain CRA documentation and regulatory records including the public file
• Lead community outreach to identify needs and partner on programs and goals
• Build relationships with organizations to identify CRA-qualified opportunities
• Manage the CRA donations budget and coordinate volunteer/community development activities
• Provide CRA expertise across the Bank and support regulatory changes
• Lead CRA audits and regulatory examinations and remediation activities
