Job summary

Forge Construction is seeking a Construction Scheduler to develop and maintain CPM schedules for ground-up multifamily and mixed-use projects. The role partners with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to create resource-loaded schedules, monitor progress, and identify delays with data-driven visibility.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of CPM scheduling experience in ground-up commercial or multifamily construction and is fluent in CPM methods.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of CPM scheduling experience on ground-up commercial or multifamily projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6; Microsoft Project a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for updates to field, leadership, and owners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed CPM schedules for multiple ground-up multifamily and mixed-use projects.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents to translate scopes into schedule sequencing.
• Update and re-baseline schedules; track progress and flag variances early.
• Perform critical path analysis and recommend recovery or acceleration options.
• Prepare schedule updates, look‑aheads, and milestone reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with subs during planning meetings to validate durations and sequencing.
• Integrate procurement and long-lead timelines into the master schedule.
• Support change order and delay-claim documentation with time-impact evaluations.
