Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers in Manteca, CA is seeking a Lead Counselor to supervise and guide a team of counselors. You will manage an individual caseload, participate in facility committees, and support the Clinical Supervisor/Director in regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Certification as Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (AODC) or current licensed/license-eligible with the Board.
• Maintain credentialing with state regulatory boards and DHCS requirements.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Provide patients with orientation regarding program objectives, phase requirements, rules, and rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases and policies.
• Maintain updated clinical charts in accordance with policies.
• Counsel patients in crisis and assist with case conferences and reviews.
• Prepare and participate in team meetings and staff trainings.
