Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Lead Counselor to provide leadership for fellow counselors, manage an individual caseload, and participate in facility committees.

You will support regulatory readiness, coordinate with the Clinical Supervisor/Director, and help with CARF visits and related duties. The role emphasizes supervising staff, ensuring documentation accuracy, and contributing to program development while maintaining compliance with federal and state

Qualifications

• Possess certification as an Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor with a CA approved certification agency or current credentials as licensed or license-eligible.
• Must maintain the Board’s requirements to be able to practice including receiving the necessary amount of clinical supervision.
• Credentialed by a State approved regulatory agency is required immediately once employed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation.
• Provide orientation regarding program objectives, phase system requirements, rules, and patient rights.
• Assess and place each patient according to treatment phases per federal and state standards.
• Counsel patients in crisis situations and assist with referrals to community resources.
• Perform treatment plan reviews and participate in case conferences.
• Oversee documentation accuracy and participate in ongoing staff meetings.
