Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. in California seeks qualified Counselors to support recovery journeys within our OTP programs. Responsibilities include orientation, assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing patient support to drive positive outcomes.

Roles are offered at Counselor I–III levels with pay scales based on education, licensure, and credentials. Eligible applicants gain access to continuing education, supervision, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Counselor I requires an associate degree or majority of approved coursework toward certification.
• Counselor registration or certification by a recognized certifying body is required.
• 0–2 years of experience for Counselor I; 2–5 years or master level for Counselor II.

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation to new patients on program rules, policies, and rights.
• Conduct intakes, discharge planning, initial assessments, and treatment plans.
• Involve patients in assessment and treatment planning to support recovery.
• Administer biopsychosocial assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with SNAP-based insights.
• Monitor changes and address relapse indicators with early interventions.
