Job summary

Affim is seeking a practical, proactive transactional attorney to join the Vendor Legal team. You will negotiate a range of vendor agreements, design playbooks, and partner with Procurement, Engineering, Product, and Finance to drive efficient, scalable processes in a remote-first environment.

You will help rebuild the team, manage a high deal volume without sacrificing quality, and contribute to strategic business decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• JD and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 5+ years of transactional experience in-house at a tech company or top law firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of a wide range of vendor agreements (marketing tech, technology services, SaaS, data platforms, etc.).
• Design, implement, and improve contracts playbooks, templates, and negotiation guides.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Financial Partnerships, Engineering, Product, Finance, Privacy, and Information Security teams to provide guidance.
• Serve as a proactive business partner to stakeholders across the organization.
• Develop training and resources to enable self-service on routine commercial legal matters.
