Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation seeks a Senior Counsel, Technology & Privacy to lead privacy governance, data protection and product counseling across the organization. You will partner with Product, IT and Commercial teams to embed privacy by design and drive risk-based decision making.

The role reports to the Deputy General Counsel and focuses on scalable governance, training, and incident response in a fast-growing tech environment. In-house privacy expertise preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of legal experience focused on privacy, data protection, and tech matters.
• Experience counseling product, engineering and technical teams.
• In-house experience preferred; strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide privacy and data protection counseling across products and operations.
• Draft and negotiate technology, data, and vendor agreements.
• Lead regulatory readiness and incident response planning.
