Qualifikationen

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 8–10 years of legal experience focused on privacy, data protection and technology matters.
• In-house experience preferred.
• Strong ability to translate legal requirements into actionable guidance for technical teams.

Aufgaben

• Monitor evolving privacy laws and enforcement trends and advise on impacts to the business.
• Lead scalable governance processes and reporting for privacy and data protection compliance.
• Provide practical guidance on collection, use, sharing, retention and protection of personal data across products.
• Support data governance uplift, including roadmap development and executive reporting.
• Partner with Product, IT, and Engineering to embed privacy into product lifecycle.
• Review and negotiate technology and data-related agreements, including DPA and vendor contracts.
• Lead cybersecurity and privacy strategy, standards, and incident response readiness.
• Assist other transactional lawyers with contracts and playbooks to streamline processes.
