Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking an Associate Counsel in Michigan to serve as a senior legal advisor.

The role requires a JD, bar license, and a degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with a minimum of eight years’ combined legal experience and at least three years of technical exposure working with engineering or infrastructure teams. You will support complex technology transactions and regulatory risk assessments.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and state bar license required.
• 8+ years of legal experience with at least 3 years of technical experience.
• Engineering or Computer Science degree required.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on complex transactions and partnerships.
• Partner with engineering/technical teams to assess regulatory and contractual risks.
• Translate technical concepts into actionable legal guidance for the business.
• Review software and intellectual property licenses and related licenses.
• Manage legal risks in AI/ML integration and related programs.
• Perform technical-legal reviews of Statements of Work (SOWs).
