Wolters Kluwer seeks a Senior Legal Counsel for CP&ESG North America hybrid role, supporting primarily the Tagetik unit. You will advise senior stakeholders, draft and negotiate complex software and services agreements, and help shape AI-related compliance programs across North American teams.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, JD, bar admission, and willingness to travel. Location flexibility includes New York and other major Wolters Kluwer offices in NA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of progressive legal experience
• Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction of residence
• Travel may be required
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills
• Experience collaborating with product, engineering and business leaders
• Experience supporting AI initiatives and compliance considerations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct legal support in structuring, drafting, negotiating and managing complex software transactions and related agreements
• Advise on vendor, partner, reseller and services contracts
• Collaborate with business leaders to align legal strategy with organizational goals
• Track changes in the legal landscape and advise on AI-related regulatory developments
