Qualifications

• Must possess a J.D. degree and be licensed to practice in the United States.
• Minimum combined ten (10) years of experience at a nationally recognized law firm and/or in-house legal department advising clients in relevant areas.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and review technology contracts including SaaS, software licenses, data licenses, distributed ledger technologies.
• In-depth experience with regulatory aspects that can impact contract requirements and cloud data considerations.
• Experience in regulated financial industry preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to advise on regulatory developments and adapt contracts accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal advice to senior management and business partners.
• Negotiate and draft complex technology and licensing agreements.
• Develop templates, playbooks, and terms of use for tech initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Privacy, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Tax).
• Advise on regulatory developments affecting procurement and technology.
• Lead negotiations on strategic transactions and vendor relationships.
• Support other Legal Department teams as needed.
• Assist with AI tool governance and cloud strategy.
