Job summary

NTT DATA North America seeks a Corporate Counsel to join the Legal Department’s commercial transactions team in Plano, Texas, to negotiate and document contracts for IT, applications, digital, consulting and AI services.

The role supports the sales and delivery organizations across Healthcare & Life Sciences, Financial Services & Insurance, Products and Public sectors and may involve Canadian employment law and governance matters as needed.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience as a lawyer, including 3 years drafting and negotiating complex IT services agreements.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and interact with senior business executives.
Knowledge of the market for complex IT services.
Strong written and verbal communications skills (English).
Flexibility to work with multiple stakeholders in an evolving business.

Responsibilities

Lead counsel in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for IT, applications, business process, digital, consulting and AI services.
Advise business clients on terms, risks, and outsourcing relationships.
Assist in resolving disputes with customers.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Collaborate with internal units and global stakeholders.
Manage internal executive briefings and escalations.
Provide legal support for employment law issues as needed.
