Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience at a nationally recognized law firm and/or in-house legal department at a high-tech company.
• J.D. from a top-tier law school and membership in good standing of a state bar.
• Deep experience with AI/foundation model platform technology and related contract models, incl. open source and proprietary tech.
• Familiarity with open source licensing models (Apache 2.0, MIT, etc.).
• Experience partnering on OEM, resale, and marketplace-driven transactions; strong quote-to-cash understanding.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all legal aspects of strategic Alliance technology transactions, including term sheets, deal processes, and document negotiations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and executives; ensure compliance with internal policies and laws; address post-signing integration issues.
• Support additional strategic transactions and scale partner practices with new processes and templates.
