Qualifications

• U.S.-credentialed law degree from a top-tier ABA accredited law school.
• Minimum of 5 years of substantial experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate agreements.
• Experience with all aspects of project development including site control, permitting, interconnection, offtake, and financing.
• Experience on utility-scale solar energy and/or battery storage projects preferred but not required.
• Strong communication with outside parties (title companies, lenders, investors).
• Ability to manage heavy workload in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee strategic real estate legal support for site control, project finance, and M&A transactions.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage real estate provisions in LOIs/terms sheets and real estate agreements.
• Review title commitments, proformas, titles, and surveys; oversee title curative work.
• Provide general real estate legal support for project development, including permitting and interconnection.
• Support corporate real estate matters and facilities.
• Develop legal strategies for new transactions and structures; coordinate with external counsel.
