Job summary

Root Edge is seeking a Counsel to support gigawatt-scale campuses including power, solar, energy storage, and digital assets. The role partners with cross-functional teams to draft and negotiate EPC and procurement contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

Ideal candidates have JD, 5+ years in energy, and are comfortable coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders on project finance and commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate equipment supply and EPC contracts and logistics agreements.
• Provide legal guidance to construction and procurement teams for regulatory compliance.
• Assist in negotiating Power Purchase Agreements, Load Service Agreements, and project financings.
• Oversee post-execution compliance and milestone tracking.
• Analyze due diligence requests and RFP responses for vendor qualifications.
