Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy in Texas is seeking a highly motivated Senior Counsel (P4) to join our legal team. The role spans real estate, permitting, EPC contracting, project development, and project finance across a growing portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects.

You will lead complex transactions, provide strategic risk guidance to business stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and mentor junior attorneys while reporting to the Assistant General Counsel.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 6+ years of legal experience in construction, real estate, or renewable energy transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal strategy for real estate, permitting, and development across the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate EPC contracts, supply agreements, and other commercial arrangements.
• Provide guidance to business stakeholders on legal and commercial risk for large-scale projects.
• Collaborate with development, finance, engineering, and operations teams for aligned delivery.
