Job summary

FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation is seeking a Senior Counsel to independently manage complex commercial contracts and regulatory matters for the CDMO/Life Sciences business with global reach. The role reports to senior leadership and shapes contracting standards that align with business strategy.

The position requires JD and bar admission with 8–12 years of relevant experience, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and the ability to travel 10–20% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Must have JD and bar admission.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial law and contracting practice.
• Experience advising senior leadership on regulatory and IP issues.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts to meet objectives and risk appetite.
• Advise senior management on legal and regulatory risks across CDMO/Life Sciences.
• Act as a principal advisor and thought leader for the Legal function at leadership forums.
• Develop long-term legal strategies and contracting templates across functions and regions.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Program teams on high-value collaborations and bids.
• Manage a high-volume caseload with clear communication to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on IP licensing, background/foreground IP, and freedom-to-operate issues.
• Lead training initiatives and improve CLM processes and templates.
• Coordinate with outside counsel to ensure value, quality, and timely delivery.
