Job summary

Integrity is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel, Insurance, to support Integrity Health and Integrity Life & Annuities. The role serves as lead transactional lawyer and healthcare regulatory counsel, reporting to the General Counsel, Insurance, and advising on regulatory matters at federal and state levels.

Qualifications

• Strong healthcare regulatory background with 4–6 years of experience in CMS, a state Department of Insurance, NAIC, a law firm, or in-house legal department.
• Solid transactional background in commercial agreements, M&A, or fund-related work with 4–6 years in a law firm or in-house.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
• Proactive, confident leader able to provide clear, practical legal advice in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor for Integrity Health and Integrity Life & Annuities, leading transactional work and regulatory affairs.
• Advise on regulatory considerations impacting healthcare products, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D, ACA, ICHRA, and ancillary products.
• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with key counterparties.
• Partner with executive teams to manage and execute strategic, corporate, and regulatory reorganizations.
• Provide legal support for advisor and client transitions, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with compliance and regulatory teams to maintain robust internal processes for transactions and risk management.
• Review and approve responses to audits from CMS and state insurance departments.
