Job summary

Linea Energy, headquartered in San Francisco, CA, seeks an experienced Lead Counsel for Construction and Procurement to guide EPC, procurement, and O&M contracts across solar, BESS, and wind projects. You will support development, asset management, and financing teams, advise on risk and strategy, and, occasionally, lead M&A and corporate matters.

Reporting to the General Counsel, you will supervise outside counsel and ensure compliant, efficient contracting aligned with Linea's commercial

Qualifications

• JD and U.S. license to practice law; CA and NY licensure a plus.
• 10+ years drafting, negotiating, and administering EPC, procurement, and O&M agreements.
• Experience with U.S. renewable energy incentives and related procurement provisions.
• Ability to supervise outside counsel and advise cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and administer EPC, procurement, and O&M agreements across solar, BESS, and wind portfolios.
• Advise engineering, financing, development, and asset-management teams on risk allocation and contract strategy.
• Support project finance, tax equity, and lender diligence; lead M&A transactions as needed.
• Coordinate with development, engineering, construction, and finance teams to align contracting with Linea's priorities.
