Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to support the Deputy Chief Legal Officer across EPC, procurement, regulatory compliance, and risk management. The role requires leading negotiations, advising executives, and partnering with senior teams in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has strong construction, corporate and renewable energy experience and will manage complex transactions, policy governance, and outside counsel relationships.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• 8–12+ years of legal experience at a top law firm or in-house.
• Experience in renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
• Strong ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Advise cross-functional teams on commercial, operational and regulatory matters.
• Lead negotiation and drafting of EPC, construction, and MSA contracts.
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting renewable energy and construction.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement and Business Development.
• Influence strategic decisions with practical risk mitigation.
• Oversee legal budgets, outside counsel and matter management.
