Job summary

Old National Bank seeks an experienced attorney to join its Legal and Government Relations Department. The role focuses on providing day‑to‑day legal support to business lines, branch operations, deposits, and treasury matters, while serving as a trusted partner to management across the bank.

Qualified candidates will have 10–15 years of experience, bar admission in preferred states, and strong analytical and communication skills to craft compliant customer agreements and internal policies.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of full‑time legal experience in a bank, financial institution, or law firm with financial services exposure.
• Ability to provide practical, solutions‑oriented legal advice to multiple business lines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to engage with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal support to business lines, branch operations, deposit services and treasury management teams.
• Draft, review and advise on customer agreements, disclosures and bank policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with risk, compliance and information security to mitigate legal and operational risks.
• Manage outside counsel and supervise paralegal staff as needed.
• Support product development initiatives and new payment technologies for regulatory soundness.
