Qualifications

• 10–15 years’ experience practicing law in a corporate legal department or a major law firm serving financial institutions.
• Admitted to practice and in good standing in footprint state(es).
• Ability to apply sound legal analysis and practical business judgment.
• Ability to consult with Bank management at all levels.
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to deliver timely, high quality work product.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to bank business lines on general banking and regulatory matters.
• Respond to inquiries from operations and help desk with actionable legal guidance.
• Review, analyze and draft customer agreements, disclosures and policies.
• Advise on compliance across the bank’s footprint, including 50-state reviews as needed.
• Counsel on privacy, data protection and AI/regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance and information security on risk management.
