Job summary

Old National Bank seeks an experienced attorney to deliver legal and regulatory guidance across Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Financial Institutions teams. The role focuses on day‑to‑day advisory, contract review and regulatory compliance in a large financial institution.

You will partner with business units and branches, providing strategic legal support and mentorship, helping the bank navigate evolving banking laws and complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in a legal department or law firm serving financial institutions.
• Admitted to practice in one of our footprint states; in-house experience preferred.
• Ability to balance legal and business objectives with practical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory advice to Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Financial Institutions groups.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements and disclosures.
• Guide product development initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Coordinate with compliance, risk and operations to maintain policies and contract frameworks.
• Respond to inquiries from branches, help desk and operations with timely legal guidance.
• Monitor developments in law and regulation affecting banking and payments services.
• Coordinate projects and manage paralegals and outside counsel as needed.
• Support other areas of the Bank as requested.
