Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems unit seeks a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst in Chantilly, VA or Sacramento, CA. This role provides financial support, budgets, schedules, and EVMS-related analyses across programs in the NIC Division.

It operates on a 9/80 schedule and requires a Secret clearance and US citizenship. The PCA interfaces with program managers, CAMs, and business managers to ensure cost control and timely funding requests, with opportunities to contribute to audits, IPRS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience or a master’s with 3 years.
• 9 years of applied experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform variance analyses.
• Monitor costs and schedules on contracts with validated cost schedule control.
• Support audits, annual plans, and internal reports and dashboards.
