Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Program Cost Control Analyst (PCA) to provide program planning and financial control support across Space Superiority, Multi Domain Operations, or Intelligence Systems divisions on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

The role interfaces with PMs, CAMs and managers to prepare budgets, perform EVM tasks, track costs and schedules, and ensure compliance with government guidelines; requires TS clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with a willingness and ability to get SCI access - OR - an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance at time of application, current and within scope - OR - an active SCI access
• Experience with Earned Value Management
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting)

Responsibilities

• Interface with program managers, CAMs and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements; prepare budgets and schedules for contract work
• Monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control; perform EVM tasks including WBS development, baseline, cost risk analysis, and estimates to complete
• Prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines; maintain expenditures records and submit funding requests
• Other duties as assigned
