Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to join the NIC Division, reporting to the Department Manager. Based in Chantilly, VA or Sacramento, CA, the PCA will provide financial support and schedule/budget management across multiple contracts.

This role requires a Bachelor’s or higher with 5+ years of experience (or 9 years in lieu). Travel up to 10%, US citizenship and Secret clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience, or a master’s with 3 years.
• Will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work.
• Perform Earned Value metrics (EVM) tasks and WBS development.
• Monitor costs and schedules; prepare expenditure projections.
• Support audits, annual operating plans, and internal reports.
