Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT seeks a Principal Business Management Analyst to join the SDS division. You will set up cost control systems, monitor costs and schedules on contracts, and prepare budgets and schedules for contract work with covariance analyses.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in accounting/finance or related fields and experience with EVMS, SAP/Deltek, and MS Project. Travel up to 10% is expected with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is required.
• Experience with MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and cost analysis is essential.
• Experience with EVMS and scheduling tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up cost control systems and monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring a validated cost/schedule control system.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and perform/assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles and variance analysis.
• Prepare program plans and monitor funding availability with accurate expenditure records.
• Conduct cost analysis to develop EACs and support monthly cost and schedule reviews.
• Assist CAMs with EVMS activities and time-phasing; document earned value methodologies and updates.
• Incorporate contractual changes into control systems and improve financial reporting processes.
