Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Proposal Analyst to support Naval Power estimating and cost modeling. This role requires on-site work with potential hybrid arrangements at Raytheon facilities in Tucson.

The successful candidate will lead pricing analysis, develop basis of estimates, ensure FAR compliance, and collaborate across functions to deliver competitive proposals for development, production, and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s with 5+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with proposal development, cost models and estimating processes.
• Familiarity with government contracting and pricing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete varying proposal types, including complex ones.
• Lead pricing strategy development and analyze labor, materials and direct costs.
• Create and refine basis of estimates and cost targets.
• Prepare Gate 4 charts for leadership reviews.
• Ensure FAR compliance and provide guidance on complex scenarios.
• Collaborate with multiple functions and train other estimators.
