Job summary

Raytheon, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Proposal Analyst to support Naval Power estimating and cost modeling for development and production contracts. The role requires independence, on-site work at Raytheon facilities, and ability to obtain program-specific clearances.

You will develop proposals, lead basis of estimates, ensure FAR compliance, and collaborate with management to align priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience, or Advanced Degree with 3+ years experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with proposal development, cost models, price buildup, and/or estimating and pricing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze and complete varying proposal types, including complex ones.
• Lead pricing strategy development and assess costs.
• Coordinate labor, material and other costs with cross-functional teams.
• Develop basis of estimates and track progress.
• Prepare Gate 4 charts for leadership reviews.
• Ensure FAR compliance on all proposals.
