Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Proposal Analyst within the Material Estimating Organization. The role develops, analyzes, and completes material proposals and coordinates cross-functional cost estimates.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance/Business or related field with 5+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 3+ years) and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. This is an onsite role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; 5+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze and complete material proposals.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand and estimate material and direct costs.
• Utilize estimating and pricing programs and tools.
• Lead development of Material Basis of Estimates and validate supplier quotes.
• Ensure proposals comply with FAR and internal requirements.
• Assess and implement solutions for thorough material packages.
• Perform detailed analysis of inputs to ensure sound estimates.
