Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Material Operations Analyst to review cost proposals, BOEs, BOMs, and supporting artifacts for reasonableness and completeness. You will train newer estimators and help establish standardized material processes across Raytheon business units.

You will collaborate with upper management to improve estimating tools, test tool enhancements before release, and ensure compliance with FAR and internal requirements while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Review cost proposals with checklists and analyze BOEs, BOMs, and artifacts for reasonableness and completeness.
• Train less experienced Material Estimators on compliant proposals.
• Help establish a common material process across Raytheon business units.
• Collaborate with upper management on process improvements for estimating tools and processes.
• Test estimating tool enhancements prior to public release.
• Establish and maintain strong customer, user/stakeholder and partner relationships.
• Lead special assignments to report data, explore opportunities, or solve problems.
• Ensure compliance with FAR and internal estimating requirements (FAR 15.408, Table 15-2) and related policies.
